Training
Training consists of a SMART Start Set-Up pre-opening coaching program followed by up to 5 days of SMART Start Training covering key success indicators, sales, marketing, employee/customer recruiting, pricing, software, safety, and the cleaning system. Total: minimum 80 hours classroom and 20 hours on-the-job. Power Training is provided within 90 days of opening.
Territory
Franchisees receive a Designated Market Area of one or more Territories, each containing 90,000 to 150,000 households based on Zip Code boundaries. The franchisor will not grant another franchise within the area while in compliance, but may reduce the territory if minimum weekly revenue thresholds are not met in more than 6 weeks per year.
Support
Ongoing support includes periodic business reviews with written reports, access to Online Operations Manuals, accounting recommendations, insurance assistance, optional National Conventions, newsletters, telephone advisory services, on-site consulting ($250/day plus travel), and web-based training. Software and Support Fee: $140/month. Technology Innovation Fund Fee: 0.25-1% of weekly Gross Revenues.
