Training
Training is split into three phases: Initial Training (14 hours webinar covering business setup and operations), Business Training (34.25 hours classroom in Waco, TX covering sales, financials, and marketing), and Systems Training (9 hours classroom plus 8-40 hours on-the-job covering ServiceTitan software). An optional Field Training Program of 8-40 hours at an operating franchise is also available.
Territory
Franchisees receive a designated territory with 100,000 to 300,000 population. The franchisor will not grant another Mr. Rooter franchise within the territory during the term if in compliance, but the territory is not exclusive, the franchisor may sell via different channels and enter Key Account arrangements. Franchisees cannot advertise outside their territory.
Support
Ongoing support includes the MAP Fund for advertising, approved supplier lists, periodic consultation visits, refresher training, regional meetings and annual Reunion convention, and updated Operations Manual. A mandatory Call Center handles after-hours/weekend calls. ServiceTitan software system with Qvinci, FranConnect, and Customer Engagement Platform is required.
