Compared against the 28 automotive brands in our database.
Training
3-week (127 hours classroom) training at Charlotte, NC headquarters covering business model, sales, CCC estimating/POS systems, production, marketing, and facility management, plus 2 weeks of on-site assistance at Center opening. Ongoing: required supplemental and refresher programs, sales meetings, and conventions at franchisee expense.
Territory
No exclusive territory, but Maaco will not license a new Center in the same CBSA if it would result in more than one Center per 50,000 persons. Maaco and affiliates retain rights to operate competing businesses under any trademarks. A Development Agreement (3+ units) with Limited Exclusivity Addendum (4+ units) can provide limited territorial rights.
