Training
Franchisees must complete Franchise Boot Camp in Houston, TX (20 hours web-based JLU CBT training plus 40 hours on-the-job). Employees follow a tiered JTSS certification system with timelines from 30 to 365 days. Leadership Training recertification required every 5 years. Tuition: $250/student in-person, $75/student virtual.
Territory
A protected three-mile radius around the service center within which no other franchisee may open or operate. Jiffy Lube can license locations outside this ring and establish company-owned centers outside the territory. Exclusivity does not depend on sales volume and cannot be modified without agreement.

Standard construction plans, site layout assistance, POS System software with tech support (Mon-Fri 6am-10pm CT and weekends), Policy & Procedure Manual, marketing materials at no charge, and field representative inspections.
