Training
Jersey Mike's requires three phases of pre-opening training at no tuition cost: Phase 1 (180 hours on-the-job at a Certified Training Restaurant over 8+ weeks), Phase 2 (4 days classroom in Manasquan, NJ), and Phase 3 (180 hours additional on-the-job training). Territory
No exclusive territory. Designated Area is typically a 0.5 to 1 mile radius from the restaurant, smaller in dense urban areas. While in good standing, no other physical location will be placed within the area, but alternative distribution channels and non-traditional venues are permitted.
Support
Jersey Mike's sends representatives for a minimum of 3 days during the first month of operation. Ongoing support includes on-site consultation visits, a 412-page operations manual, POS support, and Help Desk ($395/month). Ad fund: 1% corporate + 4% national media.
