Training
Great Clips provides a multi-component QuickConnect Training Program totaling 50 hours classroom and 13 hours on-the-job, delivered through online, virtual, in-salon, and a 2-day in-person session in Minneapolis. Management staff must complete the 24-hour LEADS program. All employees must complete Great Clips Academy within 30 days of hire. Annual $200/salon training fee.
Territory
No exclusive territory but a Protected Area defined by a 3/4-mile radius from the salon entrance (1/10 mile in dense areas). No other Great Clips will operate within the Protected Area except at non-traditional locations (military bases, airports, etc.). Master Development Agreements may grant a DMA for development.
Support
Pre-opening: approved salon design, site selection advice, marketing and grand opening assistance. Ongoing: field support services, advertising consulting, electronic accounting, purchasing programs, loyalty programs, and periodic meetings. Proprietary email system for franchisee communication. 154-page Operations Manual.
