Initial training lasts approximately 2 weeks (offered 5-6 times per year) with classroom in Alexandria, VA and on-the-job at the franchisee's restaurant, covering operations, recipes, POS, marketing, and cook/counter training. Additional personnel trained for up to $1,500/person. 5 days each of pre-opening and post-opening on-site management assistance provided.
Territory
Under a Development Agreement, an Area of Dominant Influence is assigned with protection against new franchises during the development term, though not fully exclusive. Each restaurant receives a Primary Area of Responsibility (often the contiguous property) which is exclusive while in compliance. No options or rights of first refusal for additional franchises.

Pre-opening: site selection guidelines with on-site evaluations, Preliminary Design Package with floor plans, 225-page Operations Manual, and approved supplier lists. Post-opening: quality visits and evaluations, operations advice via manual updates, remedial training on request, and Creative Fund (up to 2% of Gross Sales) for system-wide advertising.
